🇬🇧 text + link further down⬇️ 🇸🇪 Utförda Blot 2025: Blotlag Yggdrasil höll Segerblot 12 April 2025. Den 12 april samlades vi vid den anrika Inglinge hög, strax utanför Växjö, för att hålla vårt Segerblot. När vi anlände låg ett grått molntäcke över platsen och vinden svepte kyligt, som om vintern inte helt ville släppa taget. Sól höll sig gömd, men lät sina strålar titta fram emellanåt medan vi förberedde blotbordet, satte upp Nordiska Asa-samfundets banner och våra flaggor med Yggdrasil. Just när flaggorna restes dök korpar upp i skyn – de cirklade ovanför oss som väktare, och deras närvaro fyllde våra hjärtan med värme. Man kände hur makterna visade sitt gillande. Att få se och höra korpgudens sändebud just då skapade en stark känsla av samklang med det heliga... On April 12th, we gathered at the ancient Inglinge mound, just outside Växjö in Sweden to hold our Victory Blót. When we arrived, a grey blanket of clouds lay over the site and a chilly wind swept through the air, as if winter was reluctant to release its grip. Sól remained hidden but occasionally let her rays peek through as we prepared the blót table, raised the banner of the Nordic Asa-Community, and our flags adorned with Yggdrasil. Just as the flags were raised, ravens appeared in the sky—they circled above us like guardians, and their presence filled our hearts with warmth. One could feel that the powers approved. We woke up in such a state of confusion this morning that it sent us immediately into panic mode. So many nightmares triggered by having to get a RealID so I can go visit the Jarl of my Kindred in June. I hate what’s becoming of our country.

Rapé its an ancient medicine used for thousand of years in South America, by our ancestors. Mixed with tobacco (50%) and other plants, it is often used by indigenous shamans for healing. Rapé its ALWAYS applied by other people on you, (except for studies). Because the effect of simply sniffing is not Rapé. A "Medicine man" is needed, one who has been initiated in art of spirit of Rapé, knowing the variation of woodwinds based on local Landvaettir (Serpent blow, Hummingbird blow, Jaguar blow...), each one with their own your intention, to work on the pacient. Kindreds of Brazil practice seidr, spá and other practical magic in blóts, as part of their land ancestry. The tobacco present in Rapé is associated with Odin, because the connection with ancestral wisdom, but using Seidr practice with rapé also too a strong conection with Freyja, both gods of shamanism and ecstasy.

This is a demonstration of the materials and binding used for the recent ritual of healing I performed that I’d mentioned in a previous post. Due to the rules of the Kindred, I can’t disclose the rest, but this was a fairly good accounting of what I did to construct it.
