Spent some time near the mountains in Cumbria, got snowed in so camped in my van for a few days, had everything I needed & made the most of it! It's amazing how well we adapt when we cannot change the circumstances and embrace them ❄️

Hail the old gods, the ones whose names are so old the tongues that spoke them have now crumbled to dust and been forgotten. They are still here. They will always be. I feel their breath in the wind that caresses my cheek and scatters strands of hair across my face. I feel them in the icy bite of crystalline water that brings me back to my core and clears my mind as I plunge into the river, I feel them in the rush of my blood as I ascend the mountain, I feel them in the ache of my heart for the wild places and primal pure energy of nature. Away from the madness of the modern world, away from the hypocrisy, the pale imitations of natures grandeur, the artificial constructs of glass, plastic and metal.
