🇬🇧 text + link further down. 🇸🇪 Utförda Blot 2025: Blotlag Gungnir höll Segerblot 12 April 2025. Blotlaget samlades för det sedvanliga Segerblotet den 12 april. Platsen var ny för dom flesta av oss, ett gammalt gravfält med en historia som sträcker sig minst 4500 år bakåt i tiden. Undertecknad och Ulfva Hvidegaard var blotförrättare och biträdande blotförrättare. Vi samlades innan vid en upphöjd plats med utsikt över fältet och efter iordningställande var vi redo möta våra deltagare. Vid parkeringen hade vi Susanne Rutfält som visade besökarna var dom skulle gå. Allt eftersom droppade människor in på platsen, hälsades välkomna. The Blót kindred gathered for the customary Victory Blót on April 12th. The location was new to most of us—a burial field with a history stretching back at least 4,500 years. Yours truly and Ulfva Hvidegaard served as assistant officiant. We gathered beforehand at an elevated spot overlooking the field, and after preparing the site, we were ready to meet our participants. At the parking area, we had Susanne Rutfält guiding visitors on where to go. As people gradually arrived at the site, they were warmly welcomed. Heil everyone! I'm glad to join you, this place is a great project! I'm usually more into Mediterranean culture, but I looove Norse culture too, especially the study of the language (Old Norse, runic alhapbets...) and its history, particularly the encounter between Norse culture and Christianity. I really enjoy this kind of syncretism. Idk if it's important but my favorite animals are corvids (crows, ravens...) I'm truly a fan of this birds :D Currently, i'm an history student in France. Five Years Ago – A Tribute On April 12, 2020, Mattjö’s father passed on to join his ancestors. Just a few months later, on October 13, his birthday, we released the track "Fjörbann (Life-Ban)". 🎶 This song evokes the imagined voices of Viking women, waiting for their husbands to return from distant expeditions — a poetic allegory for life’s journey and the uncertainty of its end. 🌊⚔️ Mattjö chose to write the lyrics in English rather than Old Norse, so that everyone could understand them immediately. When visiting Peel Castle on the Isle of Man back last summer i'm pretty sure that we had a Raven, (not a crow) land on the castle wall just in front of us, shortly before this my partner and myself had been waxing lyrical about our ancestral connections to the castle. We felt blessed :-) Unfortunately we weren't fast enough with our cameras and started to doubt the evidence of our own eyes - the 'Raven' flew low from its perch, below the walls crenellations never to be seen again....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peel_Castle

Seems it was not ravens i saw recently, they are large-billed crows instead. Got some real weight and size to them though! -Which is why i didnt notice at first
