Good morning, everyone!
I have never posted my poetry anywhere online, so this is out of my comfort zone - but here it is. I wrote it a few nights ago, inspired by the balance between our inner strengths and weaknesses.
I am aware that Jötunns aren't inherently malevolent beings in Norse mythology, but here, they symbolise negative thoughts, these inner critics that can sometimes get a bit too loud.
Writing this helped me, and I thought maybe it might resonate with some of you too.

I didn't follow a strict rhyme structure this time, I just wanted to let it flow naturally.
For the illustration, I borrowed elements from the Tullstorp Runestone (ship) and the Runestone Sigurdsristningen (birds).

I hope you enjoy,
Have a lovely day!
