Reading up in preparation for Disirblot. The good side of coming from a mormon family is that family history is everywhere.
Photo is a four generation photo of my maternal grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, the infant is my mother.

Sometimes honoring the land vaettir is about taking something rather than leaving am offering.
Someone carried them into the spot where I found them drank then crushed the cans, and left them behind.

A client broke the handle on my mora knife and I replaced it with a sheep(or pronghorn antelope?) tibia. Then made a backseam sheath from bison leather.
It became a altar/ceremonial piece because I messed up the balance when I did the handle. It came to me second-hand years ago, this is important in my view as I believe items gain spiritual 'weight' through meaningful use.
