Our Goðin are described as being “great smiths” and the lore isn’t just talking about metal work. They're amazing at creating so many varied things (obviously) even being referred to as “galdr smiths”. In turn, the Goðin taught mankind many things so that we too could create and craft and smith many things both needful and beautiful. This is something we as the “Sons of Heimdall” (Voluspa 1) should fully embrace. Not just for the sake of creating beautiful and functional things. Is it any wonder so many who worship the Goðin are also called to create? This isn’t coincidence but a primal drive. We should see it as an act of worship to be able to partake in this creative process with the gods.
