Efter alla dessa år av engagemang, hårt arbete och ihärdigt motstånd har vår kamp äntligen burit frukt – påvestenen vid Kungshögarna i Gamla Uppsala är nu borttagen!
Detta är en historisk seger för vårt kulturarv, för asatron och för alla som kämpar för att bevara och respektera våra heliga platser.
Vi vill rikta ett stort och innerligt tack till dem personer som skrev under vår namninsamling för att få bort stenen!
Utan ert stöd, er röst och ert engagemang hade detta inte varit möjligt. Det är tack vare vår gemensamma styrka och uthållighet som vi nu kan fira denna betydelsefulla seger.

After Eight Years – The Pope Stone Is Finally Gone!
After all these years of dedication, hard work, and persistent resistance, our struggle has finally borne fruit – the Pope Stone at the Royal Mounds in Gamla Uppsala has now been removed! This is a historic victory for our cultural heritage, for Asatru, and for all who fight to preserve and respect our sacred sites.
We want to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to the 1,876 people who signed our petition to have the stone removed. Without your support, your voices, and your commitment, this would not have been possible. It is thanks to our collective strength and perseverance that we can now celebrate this significant victory.
After eight years, the petition is now concluded and closed – because we have succeeded! The Pope Stone no longer stands, and Gamla Uppsala can once again breathe freely as a place for our heritage and our faith.
