The wife is working on tooling Pictish designs on the leather for my satchel/crannog bag. I used to wonder why this design has blunt ends on both ends instead of a spearhead on one, and it occurred to me that it may be the Pictish Druidic equivalent to the Staff or Rod of Asclepius.
