No im not posting this to troll 🧌 but i am posting this to start constructive conversation
The heathen / asatru community has a serious issue with complacency and ignoring issues idk if this is just in the states but it seems to be everywhere ignoring Neo Nazis witch have been emboldened by a recent leadership change and their open bastardization of our symbols does nothing but allow the metaphorical tumor to grow these groups are the ones unfortunately with the most money and most political pull where are the well funded non racist or Facist heathen organizations besides the troth witch had their own questionable beginnings and is notorious for ignoring problems also for me heathenry / asatru is inherently political the sagas stories and Eddas in the pre Christian era were intertwined with the laws of the society and each informed the other the stories informed the laws and the laws informed the stories / sagas so why do we not have someone in government advocating for our community and making statements to show a definitive line between racists and non racist heathens and making sure our communities rights are protected and advocating for proper treatment of the earth and climate initiatives animism is a key point of the path
