Just to set the facts straight. Some have called FolkRealms just another social media platform. I don’t agree - and I think they’re missing the point.
FolkRealms is a place where real people come together. No bots. No AI. No useless ads. Just people, connecting over shared interests, creativity, and meaningful conversation.
Big corporate social media sites are filled with irrelevant content, automated posts, and endless shit, FolkRealms is about real interaction - not the kind that’s driven by algorithms or ads.
The big social media giants are crumbling. They’re becoming more fragmented, more driven by profit, and connection is getting lost in all the noise.
The internet as we know it is fading away, most of us can feel it.. And as these big networks collapse, smaller, human-centered communities will rise up - and FolkRealms is one of them.
I don't have much else to say on the issue, but there is no doubt in my mind that communities like this will become much more important in the near future. And if you don't agree, you are of course welcome to "enjoy" these big social platforms as much as you like.
