As pagans, I believe we are called to look out for our fellow humans our neighbors, friends, and family. We lead by example and are defined by our actions, not for clout or praise, but simply because we understand that none of us walk this life or realm alone.
My neighbors, I don't know very well and frankly thats my fault, are saying goodbye to their dog. Hes crossing the rainbow bridge as i type this.. He's 14 years old which is a long and beautiful life for a pup. I felt called to bake them some cookies and give them a card. It's not much, but i hope it brings them comfort. Though we aren’t close, I hope this act might break the ice, a step toward making the world a little less lonely and offering fellowship during a hard moment. Be kind, be well, take no shit.
