I'm almost ashamed of the mess of supplies under my little table... But good day, everyone~! I have a question of curiosity for you. But first, please allow me to indulge in a glimmer of mine. The question will be a little below~ 💜 It's nearing noon in the Pacific Time Zone. Here, we're enjoying the sun. Cora's favorite blanket is in her favorite cove next to my favorite rocking chair and beloved altar. My "glimmer" is that I've had her for 12 years as of this month (I'll add a baby picture~). Our journey together has been bumpy, but she's stuck with me through it all and has always been there for me. 💞 Cora has not necessarily been a traditional "witch's familiar", despite being the first pet I had as wholly my own, but she has certainly still played a role in my growth as I went through my twenties. It's no secret that bonding with animals can be largely beneficial for our overall wellbeing and health. But today, I'm curious about the spiritual. **My question to the fellow pet owners and feral fosters: Has having an animal companion played a significant role on your spiritual path? Do you incorporate them into your practices in some way? Are they, like Cora, a pain to keep off of your altar? 😅 I hope that wherever you are, your day is favorable.
