  • How do you deal with feeling disconnected from your practice?
A month and a half ago, I had to make a life shift, as my work needed someone to step up to the plate and, take over on night shifts full time. No one wanted to take them, the new people they had in line denied working nights in their interviews, and with my work struggling to find coverage, I took it. However, I am regretting it. Switching to this has really thrown me back, giving me far too much time to be in my head. Amongst the mental strain, the overall depressing aspect of it all and the loneliness, the biggest thing that has really thrown me down is feeling extremely disconnected from the spirits, the gods, and my practice as a whole. I also run a Non-Profit Norse Pagan organization for my local area and that's my second job, but I haven't had the time to be as involved as I need to be because of now having to live at night. I'm a night person don't get me wrong, but working nights it's so much different than being up in the night and having that time to enjoy myself and work on my own things. I try to find my ways to be connected and be involved in my practices, but sometimes I feel like I've just been tossed to Ginnungagap and abandoned...
So with that, if anyone has any suggestions on things they do to help them sort of spark their connection and keep it well and flowing please let me know.
