Almost a year ago we have visited Midsummer Tunes 2024, which took place in southwestern part of the Liberec region. It had really good and peaceful atmosphere. Definitely looking forwad to visting the festival this year. Alas, only for Saturday this time.
I also noticed that Lichočar Witchfolk will have a performance here – I have discovered them on this site. In March we have visited Adršpach Rocks located in Northeast Bohemia nearby Polish borders. It has really beautiful scenery. I am glad we were there outside of main tourist season and met only few people during our course. And we have witnessed little icefall.
Alas, at summer it gets little bit overcrowded and you have to even make a reservation for your arrival.

Today I was in my wife's hometown (Cvikov, Liberec Region, Czech Republic) and we have visited celebration of the 1st of May.
Although celebration itself was not folklore in any way, at least they had _Maypole_ on the Cvikov's main square - a small reminiscence of our ancestors tradition.

I want to share this book and cards with you. It is about Slavic mythological creatures such as Noonwraiths, Leshy and so on. I really like the artstyle and author's (Ratoch, Josef Kratochvíl) interpretations.

It has been 4 months when I joined a group of friends playing D&D. Our DM started painting miniatures which got my interest.
So I ordered Cyan, Magenta and Yellow paint + Black and White pigment and tried my first attempt in mixing different colours and painted my first miniature – I was quite suprised after 3 hours with the result considering this is my first attempt and I had zero experience with painting.It has been 4 months when I joined a group of friends playing D&D.
